Cartwright James are currently representing a cutting edge early stage Contract Research Organisation based in North America who are at the forefront of phase I to II and bioanalytical services with a client base that has global reach. Due to consistent annual growth my client is looking to fill a remotely based Business Development Director position with strong business acumen and a background selling CRO services to join the commercial team driving revenues and growth moving forwards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for; new business development looking to drive revenues as well as strengthening and maintaining existing relationships with customers whilst expanding the client network, and collaborating internally with commercial individuals to develop strategy to generate growth moving forwards. The successful candidate will also be expected to identify and execute on new growth opportunities implementing innovation and enhancing customer experience.
– Science Degree (MSc or BSc)
– 5+ years of professional sales experience within US CRO market
– Clear Demonstration of negotiation, presentation and sales skills
– Excellent Understanding/Scientific knowledge of preclinical and early phase research (Bioanalytical, Bioequivalence and Pharmcokinetics preferred)
– Ability to travel throughout the US
