Regional Sales Manager Central Europe – Genetic Diagnostics – Remote


Cartwright James is currently representing a global rare disease diagnostic company that is a world wide leader in the field of genetic diagnostics.

As a clear differentiator the organisation has a broad portfolio with >9,000 tests in the menu, with best in class medical interpretation.

The organisation is supported by the application of cutting edge technologies and are constantly developing new innovative products in the field of genetics. Our Client is now looking to onboard a Regional Sales Manager Central Europe, covering German speaking and central European countries including UK/Ireland.


  • Independant management of your territory: German Speaking and Central European countries including UK/Ireland.
  • Active acquisition of customers in the relative countries.
  • Managing relationships with key opinion leaders in the diagnostics of rare hereditary disorders.
  • Identify and implement an action plan to drive growth within the territory.
  • Representing the  organisation at conferences and target group gatherings.
  • Directly reporting to and coordinating with the General Manage Europe.

Expertise Required

  • A background in biotechnology and the genetics space is essential (background in Biology, laboratory medicine and medical technology).
  • Profound understanding of methods in the field of modern human genetic and rare disease testing.
  • Excellent German and English skills are essential – other European languages are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and negotiating ability.
  • The means to work independently, orientated towards performance and results.
  • Willingness to travel.

You can be based remotely throughout Europe for this position, of course a high level of travel will be required throughout the region as would be expected with such a position.
