Cartwright James is currently representing a global organisation that offers a portfolio of products and services that are delivered to the diagnostic and life science industries globally.

The organisation is a leading expert in assay development and manufacturing services, and provides and extensive portfolio of products and technologies to the global diagnostic market, the other arm of the organisation focuses upon Point of Care technology.

Our client is currently searching for a Senior Regional Sales Director covering EMEA, where you will be responsible for leading the sales growth throughout your designated territory. To achieve annual revenue, growth and profitability objectives by creating and implementing robust forecasting and sales processes leading a team of 7 direct reports.

Responsibilities;

  • Delivering or exceeding revenue and gross margin attainment in the designated market.
  • Leading sales & Support personnel throughout the region, including hiring and performance management.
  • Transforming the sales performance delivery in order to unlock the full potential within the market.
  • Continuous implementation and optimisation of the commercial strategy to deliver planned results.
  • Develop a geographic sales plan identifying key areas of growth potential and strategy capturing both short and long term opportunities.
  • Directly reporting to and coordinating with the CCO.

Expertise Required

  • Bachelors or corresponding degree or significant proven industry experience.
  • Extensive track record of commercial success and growth attainment in the designated territory.
  • Experienced and proactive sales leader with a track record of delivering high growth through effective customer and team engagement.
  • Collaborative approach to unite teams and establish successful relations with other company organisational entities cross-divisionally.
  • Ability to work within matrix organisations and experience in reporting across time zones.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Territory.

You can be based remotely throughout Europe for this position, of course a high level of travel will be required throughout the region as would be expected with such a position.
